What we hold, and what we do not.

Kallo is a rendering studio. The most sensitive thing you are likely to send us is a model of a building that has not been announced yet, so this page starts there and covers the ordinary website matters afterwards.

Who is responsible

Kallo is a trading brand of Velocia Group Corporation, a Delaware corporation at 1007 N Orange St, 4th Floor, Ste 1382, Wilmington, New Castle, Delaware 19801. That company is the data controller for everything described on this page, and it is the party you contract with.

For any privacy question, including a request to see or delete what we hold, write to stuart@kallo.design. A person answers.

Your model files

Project files you send are confidential. They are stored privately, used only to produce the work you have commissioned, and are never published, resold, shared with another client, or used as a demonstration piece without your written approval.

Delivered images are equally private. We do not add your project to a portfolio, a case study or a social post unless you tell us in writing that we may.

Ask us to delete a model and its derived files at any point after delivery and we will, then confirm it in writing. You can also agree a project-specific deletion date up front, before anything is sent.

A non-disclosure agreement can be signed before any transfer, and secure upload instructions are supplied before you share a file. Neither costs anything and neither delays a quote.

What we collect

When you send a brief: your name, email, phone if you give one, your practice or company, the project name and location, the model format and any file link, the outputs you need, your timeframe, and whatever notes you add.

An automated service reads the project details of each new brief, never your name or contact details, so we can see which briefs are ready to start and answer those first. It makes no decision about you, and a person reads every brief.

When you send a website enquiry: your email, and the questions you chose, so the reply you receive answers what you actually asked.

When you pay: card details go directly to our payment processor, and Kallo never sees or stores a card number. We keep the order, the amount, the currency and whether it is paid.

When you browse: standard analytics data, described in the next section.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

On our public website, we use analytics to understand which pages are read and which are ignored, and advertising measurement services to understand whether an advert led to a real enquiry. These set cookies in your browser.

These public-site analytics and advertising services start switched off for visitors in the European Union and the United Kingdom, and stay off until consent is given. Everywhere else you can decline from the banner on your first visit, and your choice is remembered on your device.

You can decline analytics without losing access to the site. Private proposals use a necessary sign-in cookie so you can move between your proposals without signing in again.

The public website also sets one small cookie, kallo_market, for every visitor. It holds only which market your visit comes from (New Zealand, Australia, the United States or elsewhere), based on the country your connection comes from, so we quote in your currency. It is not used for analytics or advertising, and it expires after 30 days.

Private proposal activity

When you view a private proposal, we record when a page is opened, the options selected and actions such as reviewing a quote or clicking submit. This helps Stuart follow up with relevant information. Random browser and session identifiers connect these events; they do not tell us who is using the browser.

This activity log does not record what you type into contact fields, your screen or your IP address. Your name, email and confirmed choices are saved separately when you submit them. Clicking submit alone does not mean a submission succeeded.

Activity is available to authorised staff in our CRM for up to 90 days, limited to the latest 2,000 events. Older activity is removed when new activity is recorded. You can turn activity tracking off in the proposal footer. We also respect a declined analytics choice on this site and browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. Tracking being off does not prevent you from viewing prices or submitting your choices.

How long we keep things

Enquiries are kept while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, because most projects come back. Order and payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Model files and derived images are deleted on request.

Where your data is processed

Velocia Group Corporation is a United States company and works with clients in New Zealand, Australia and the United States. Your data may be processed in any of those places, and by service providers that handle secure storage, payment processing, sorting new briefs, website analytics and advertising measurement on our behalf.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act gives you the right to know what personal information we have collected and why, to receive a copy of it, to correct it, and to have it deleted.

You also have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing here for you to opt out of, but the right stands and you may ask us to confirm it.

Exercise any of these by writing to stuart@kallo.design. We will not treat you differently for asking.

Your rights generally

Wherever you are, you can ask what we hold, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. New Zealand and Australian privacy law give equivalent rights and we apply the same process to everyone.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we do with your data, the date at the top changes and the new version applies from that date.

The commercial terms are on the terms page.
